SAMA: Association of Occupational Safety Appliances & Services – Providers, Manufacturers, Distributors & Dealers, is renowned name, devoted to the cause of workplace safety and health, through proper equipment's and measures.


Since 1969 SAMA a Non-Profit Organization has been endeavoring to help society at large – by enhancing safety awareness and guiding the end-user for optimum usage of Safety Appliances and services, technologies, and equipment.

SAMA organizes events & campaigns for members that boost workplace safety awareness across industries.

The main objective of SAMA is to shape up the industry as an organized sector and form our own representation for redressal of common challenges of growth of safety fraternity as a whole.

Today, SAMA is putting effort to implement Indian Standards (ISI) and providing needed raw materials and technical expertise. SAMA has received considerable support and assistance from National Safety Council (NSC), Central Labor Institute (CLI), and the Council of Industrial Safety.

CEP Group was formed by the EHS professionals working across different industries in Hyderabad with a motto of bringing all the professionals under one roof which helps in building the careers of new talent and to serve the society by organizing various awareness sessions.

It regularly conducts VDA (Value Driven Approach) Free Training Sessions on various topics relating to Environment, Health & Safety especially for people in hazardous or industrial workplace.

Membership is completely free. It actively runs no ad whatsapp group and owing to coivd-19 has started conducting online training programs using Micorsoft Teams.

As on 31st Dec 2021, the group has more than 2500+ industry professionals under its wing.

The Labour Ministers’ Conference in its 22nd Session held in 1962 recommended:

”A Conference on ‘Safety in Factories’ should be convened and the question of setting up a National Safety Council for conducting a campaign on accident prevention should be considered”.

  • The 24th Session of the Standing Labour Committee accepted the proposal concerning the constitution of the National Safety Council (NSC) in February, 1966.

  • Accordingly, NSC was set up on 4th March, 1966 by the Ministry of Labour, Government of India.

  • It was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and subsequently, as a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.

Building capacity, developing material, methods, procedures and strengthening the national movement (including unorganized sector) on Safety, Health and Environment to prevent and mitigate the loss of life, human suffering and economic losses.
